1. INVITATION FOR PREQUALIFICATION

** CIVIL WORKS – EXTENSION AND RECONFIGURATION AT QUAY VRULJE**

This Invitation for Prequalification follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project which was published in EBRD Procurement Opportunities, 21 October 2008 and the updated GPN published on 15th March 2010 (6093-GPN-39749)

Port of Šibenik Authority intends applying the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development [the Bank] towards the cost of financing the reconstruction of the Vrulje quay in the Port of Sibenik-Croatia.

The Employer intends prequalifying firms and joint ventures to tender for the following contract to be funded from part of the proceeds of the loan:

• Civil works at the extension and reconfiguration of the Quay Vrulje- Port of Šibenik

Prequalification and tendering for contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the Bank is open to firms and joint ventures of firms from any country.

A complete set of the prequalification document in English may be purchased by interested applicants (a) on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of EUR 100 or equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency into the following account :

If requested, the documents will be promptly despatched by courier, but no liability can be accepted for loss or late delivery.

The prequalification documents must be duly completed and delivered to the address below, on or before 12:00 hours 28th May 2010.

Documents which are received late may be rejected and returned unopened.
